New Resolution

I had to blog about this incredible photographer I just found. Chelsea Wilde and her photography business, New Resolution Photography really stands out to me. I love fashion photography but her use of light and color is beautiful. I love the gritty vintage appeal. As a filmmaker, playful use of colors and light always appeals to me. I mean look at the reflection in the train case in the first photo, the elegance of the model in the third photo, and the gothic feel of fifth photo.

So do yourself a favor and check out New Resolution Photography for some beautiful work and especially if you are a Utah bride! Oh and please vote for this talented photographer in The Face of Smashbox contest (just search "Chelsea Wilde" for more photos and the vote button).

GRO rocks my socks off

I can't believe I haven't pimped this band out yet!!

If you have been watching "So You Think You Can Dance?" or recall this band from the season finale of "The Hills" you make recognize Green River Ordinance. This band is incredible and it is exciting that they are starting to get recognition for their music.

I have been lucky to follow this band for the past 4 years. They were regulars around my college campus and would sing during our sorority meetings a few times a semester to promote their gigs. I remember before I even started college I received a random message on myspace from them. After hearing one song I was hooked. After meeting a few band members I can tell you they are not only talent musicians but great guys too.

Oh and did I mention they are going on tour with Gavin DeGraw this summer....he's another of my favorite musicians. It's a match in music heaven for me!

You MUST check out Green River Ordinance NOW! haha. Here are the necessary links that you need:

Screenprint Goodies

So I am a sucker for screen printing. So of course I adore this Esty shop, Mr.PS.
This Brit makes a range of wonderful screenprint items from bags, mugs, and tea towels. I love the simply of colors and fonts used in these items! Oh and the English feeling to these are great too.

Be sure to check out Mr.PS' shop for more goodies!

Craft Room

I desperately want a craft room. Currently my sewing table is in the middle of my bedroom and my computer desk is full of half finished projects. I am thankful I now have laptop because I have been forced to us it while I sit in my bed watching tv. Boxes are in the hall, the garage is full, etc etc. Yeah I need more space. While I don't think I will have my own craft devoted room for a long time I dream of what could be.

Beautiful Band

I ran across this headband on etsy. Isn't it beautiful? I love the colors but then again those are my wedding colors so I'm a little partial haha. What's great is that this was made with upcycled vintage fabric. How original and eco-chic! So be sure to look at roseredwinter's shop and her awesome vintage clothing and headbands.

Oh and this headband currently has free shipping! RoseRedWinter has a sale going on so don't miss out on this offer good until June 14th.

Such a Fun Couple

Here's one of my new favorite engagement photos from my favorite DFW area photographers, Lindsey Shea Photograhy. Look for more of her photos in the future.  (Click of photo for larger image)

I mean, don't you just want to hang out with this couple?! They look so fun and I bet their wedding is going to rock.
